I never saw another good actor.
The last, the very last,
So richly, brightly, strongly projected;
Perhaps if the lighting crew's followspots shine brightly on an empty stage....
They went away I'm sure because they wished to go to a good college.
For three semesters I've lived in here,
Giving my soul to Ms. Brooks,
But I have found my people here.
Only I never saw another good actor.
That actor was the last one.
Good actors don't go to school here in the ghetto.



I love drama and drawing and attempting to write fiction and poetry and some creative prose. Je suis en français III, et je l'aime trop beaucoup--il charge de ma vie!

I've recently been to Broadway and seen several musicals, including Wicked and The Phantom of the Opera. I was recently rather obsessed with Phantom.

I've read the novel by Gaston Leroux (or at least a questionable translation; hoping to find a better one soon)--twice--and love it. It's so fantastic, intense, moving.
I'm also a relatively new fan of the late Jeremy Brett, who most famously portrayed Sherlock Holmes on the Granada TV series from 1984 to '94. He was an amazing actor and person, and a role model for me. "Onward and Upward."
I love making icons, and when I get up the courage maybe I'll post some here. =P Not that anyone'd want to use them...
